It’s my birthday! Ba-Ba-Ba-Ba-Ba-Birthday!

But no yellow Mega-Man for me!

New month. New year. New age. New beginnings.

I’m always positive this time of year. And then slowly it starts to go down hill. Every year I wish the same thing when I blow out my candles (this year being no exception) and I have not gotten it. I will not be revealing what I wish for, but trust me when I tell you that it has yet to come true. *sigh*

BUT – this year I will try to be more positive. I will try to take better care of myself.  I will read 50 books. (Oh yes. You read that right.) AND I will finish Breaking Dawn. (blech)

I will also try to write more. My main objective in writing this blog is to keep my creative juices flowing so that I can finally write that book I’ve been meaning to do.  It’s hard. I have bad concentration. But when people say “Hey, I like what you write.” and continue to visit my blog, I think “Hey, maybe one person will actually buy that book when I self publish it.” (you totally don’t have to.)  I do want to write more. I know not everything is super great, but I don’t want to just write “Went to Staples today. Bought a red Swingline.” and be done. I want to SAY something. And I want you to know a little bit more about JMo when you read it. I hope I’ve been successful thus far.

Oh and I’ve also started a dream journal. My dreams are pretty crazy and anxiety ridden.  So I’ve started writing them down. So far…nothing exciting. If anything good happens, I’ll be sure to let you know.

Since I started with a Cartman line, I shall end with one:

“No, Kitty, this is my pot pie!!”

  1. If you give yourself one day off a week by writing just one page a day within a year you will have a complete manuscript. By doing your page at the same time every day and in the same location you will be surprised at how fast your brain gets trained to get into the writing mode.
